Connect your AI agent
Connect your AI agent to LotsNotes.
Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and your own agents read the same current notes before they work. Write your business context once in LotsNotes, organize it in workspaces and folders, and connect every agent you use.
MCP server URL
https://api.lotsnotes.com/mcpRemote MCP with OAuth: sign in with your Lots account, no key needed.
What your agent can do
Ask in plain words:
“Read our AGENTS.md and the marketing folder before you write anything.”
“Save this decision to the Product folder and send me the link.”
“Update the pricing FAQ note with today's change.”
Find the right context
List your workspaces and folders, find notes by title, and read only the notes it needs. Workspace notes come back with every folder, so a workspace AGENTS.md reaches every agent.
Write it back
Create and update shared notes, move notes and folders, and create folders inside folders. Every note it returns carries its lotsnotes.com link.
Keep history safe
Notes keep their version history. Agents can list versions, restore an earlier one, and archive or restore notes and folders.
Respect your roles
Agents act as you and see only the folders you can access. Private notes are never returned to agents, the API or the Mac app.
Connect your agent
Two minutes, whichever agent you use.

}Cloud agents without MCP
Give the agent https://api.lotsnotes.com/docs.md and an API key from api.lotsnotes.com/dashboard. It reads and writes notes over the REST API.
Your private notes stay private
Private notes are visible only to you on lotsnotes.com and are never returned through MCP or the API. Shared notes follow your workspace roles: owners, admins and members edit, viewers read.
REST API
Cloud agents and your own code use the REST API with an API key.
